Dr Quentin de Havilland is a General Practitioner who graduated from the University of New South Wales in 1986. He began his career as an intern at Wollongong Hospital and associated Illawarra hospitals in 1987, progressing to registrar roles in both Emergency Medicine and Obstetrics & Gynaecology. In 1991, he transitioned to General Practice after completing the Family Medicine Program training through the RACGP.
His career has included rural practice in West Wyalong and Corryong, Victoria, before settling in Dapto, Illawarra, where he practised for more than 20 years. From 2006 to 2018, Dr. de Havilland served as a Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Wollongong’s Graduate School of Medicine, teaching medical students. He is also an accredited supervisor for GP registrars and International Medical Graduates (IMGs).
In 2023, Dr. de Havilland moved to Oberon to care for his wife’s 5th-generation family property. He is married with three adult children, and outside of medicine, he enjoys fishing, birdwatching, and managing the property’s truffle farm.
Dr. de Havilland provides comprehensive General Practice care, with experience in Paediatrics, Emergency Medicine, Women’s Health, Chronic Disease Management, Mental Health, and Palliative Care.
